Y’all!!! I cannot believe it is already almost 2018! That’s crazy talk!! Time flies way too fast.

I’ve been trying to slow down, and reflect on this past year, and so many incredible things happened in 2017 that I will cherish forever. From finally starting my blog to finally graduating college to visiting California for the first time to getting engaged to becoming closer to God and accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, it has been the BEST year!

And, I am so excited and beyond grateful as I head into 2018. I cannot believe that I will be marrying the most incredible person in 6 months! I can’t wait!! So many things to do, but it’s going to be great!

Anyways, I have put together some outfit ideas for your New Year’s Eve plans, but I’ve broken them up into two parts (two different blog posts). Of course, since it’s New Years, your best option will always be sequins because I mean why not?! It’s the one day out of the year where it’s completely and totally acceptable to wear butt loads of sequins! [hahaha!]

But, if you aren’t the sequin type, I will show you another great option, (in the second blog post) a more subtle option that is still completely New Years worthy! We will stick to all the sequins in this blog post.

If you are like me, and love wearing jeans for any and every outfit, stick to a monochromatic look with a pop of sequins. It doesn’t really matter what color sequins. For example, maybe do an all black look (black top, black jeans, black shoes) with a gold sequin blazer or an all white look with a silver sequin jacket.

If you are wanting to be more dressy for the occasion, throw on a sparkly all sequin dress, or skirt, with some pumps and call it a day!

If you’re wanting to be more casual and comfortable, try a sequin jogger pant or a sequin romper/jumpsuit.  Whatever you decide, make sure you have fun with your outfit so that you can ring in the new year in style!

I just threw on a solid black shift dress with a gold sequin blazer and voila, a simple New Year’s Eve outfit! Hope y’all have a great New Year’s Eve! I’m still not sure what my plans are, but I’d love to know yours! Just comment below!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love, Courtney
