Happy Valentine’s Day

Hey guys and gals!! Happy Valentine’s Day!! I know it’s not everyone’s favorite day, but I hope it’s full of lots love for everyone!

Do any of you have any plans for today? So far, I don’t, haha! We may go to dinner… but we’ll probably end up in our pajamas watching f.r.i.e.n.d.s like we do every night, hahaha! But, hey, I’m not complaining! Honestly, that’s what I look forward to every night. It’s the best!!

Anyways, since it is the day of loooove, I figured I would talk a little bit about love. You know who loves you the most?

He loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for you. He sent Jesus to save us because He loves us THAT much! Doesn’t that just blow your mind?! His love for us is so great and so strong that it’s not even comprehensible.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Johh 3:16

His love is so perfect, pure, and so true. He loved us before we even entered our mothers’ wombs. How crazy/awesome is that? He loves us just the way we are. He loves us even with all of our sinful nature. He loves us even with all of our past, present, and future mistakes. Ya see, His love is everlasting: He loves us unconditionally, always, and forever. And, nothing and no one can ever separate us from the love of God.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39

It really does blow my mind. Like, how can someone love me and you (all of us) THAT much?? But, He does and always will. How undeserving are we to have that kind of love? My answer is very.

We need to try to love each other that way. I mean, we could never really love exactly that way because we aren’t perfect and we are only human, but we can try! It’s easy to love those who love you, but what about those who have hurt you or those you don’t know or those who don’t want your love?

Well, guess what, love them anyways! If God can forgive and love us after the things we have done, why can’t we do the same for those who have maybe hurt us or those who are difficult to love?

The most important commandment is this:

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:36-40

So, let’s love more! Let’s love God more and let’s love each other more! It is so so important. This is something I need to work on as well.

Let’s allow God to fill our hearts with His love, so that we can share it with others.

No matter who you are or what you are going through, know that you ARE loved, always. You are loved with the most perfect love there is, God’s love.

Hope y’all have a great Valentine’s Day! And, remember to spread some love! Love y’all!
