Hey everyone! Hope the new year has been treating you right! It’s so crazy how fast time is flying. It’s already 2018!! Insane!!

Well, I’m trying to stay sane and warm in this new year of colder weather. I’m layering up (a tad) with this cozy flannel and denim jacket.  I love the colors of this flannel; and, since it is a little cropped in the front, it’s perfect with high-waisted jeans or a high-waisted skirt.

If you don’t have a denim jacket, then you need to go buy you one asap because it really is so versatile and such a good basic to have. I mean, I feel like you can wear a denim jacket in any season.

And, y’all, these combat boots by Frye are amazing!! I bought them last year, and they are still available. Frye is such a great boot company. Truly the best quality. I’d say they run pretty true to size. I’m usually a 6.5 or a 7, and I got the 7 due to other reviews. You can break them in after a few wears, and they are good to go!

Well, that’s all I got for ya! Hope you have a great day!

Love, Courtney

Okay, so, remember how I said in my last blog post that I would be making another post to give you another option for New Year’s Eve??? Well, as discussed in my last post, sequins is of course perfect for New Year’s Eve, but another great option is metallic!

If you are looking for a more subtle option than sequins, but something that still gives you all the New Year’s feels, metallic is the perfect option for you!

And, the great thing about metallic is that you can incorporate it into your everyday wear, so you can wear it more than just one day out of the year (just my personal opinion because it’s alot more subtle than sequins).

I’ve linked some metallic outfit ideas below if you’re stuck and need some help.

I mean, it’s really all about your own personal preference and style. So, express yourself in whatever way you’d like this New Year’s Eve! Whether it be with metallics, sequins, leather, or velvet, do your own thang girl!

Hope y’all have a great New Year’s Eve and an even better year! Let’s celebrate!

Love, Courtney
